Life lately …
It’s May and it finally feels like spring has sprung! I’m loving my early morning runs in the sunshine. I’ve ditched my coat and I’m living in these yellow jeans from Monki. FYI they also come in red too 🙂
TED X TALK
For the last two months I have been working on a talk for Tedx !! To be completely honest, I am feeling mega nervous! I keep writing it, re-writing it and then re-writing it again. I always ask people to step outside of their comfort zone so I guess I have to lead by example. I want to share my personal experience in the hope that it will encourage people to explore a new way of living. My talk is June 9th at MauerPark, Berlin. Read more about it click here…
COSMOPOLITAN INFLUENCER AWARDS
I was nominated for an award, ‘Best Health & Wellness’ Influencer of the year at the Cosmopolitan Magazine awards & I won runner up! 🙂 SO crazy! Read my full post, click here
ADIDAS
To celebrate the launch of the latest adidas by Stella McCartney SS18 collection, I hosted a workout alongside fellow adidas ambassador Julie Jaws Nelson & Karlie Kloss.
I’m sure you already know that the adidas Stella kit is always mega stylish and this collection is no different but it is also the most sustainable to date. All of the products are made from recycled materials. Go Stella!
The event was mega fun and Jaws put us through our paces in a tough boxing class. I caught up with Karlie and we filmed a fun Q&A video too.

PARIS
I went to Paris with Decleor to visit their HQ and to learn more about the brand. We listened to expert facialists  Nicola Joss & Fiona Brackenbury, talk about skin and in-particular, skin damage caused by sun light and city pollution. Apparently the combination of the two is terrible for our skin. I learnt so much on that trip and ever since talking to Fiona, I have become obsessed with SPF cream. Even if I’m running at 6am in the morning, I still put SPF 30 on my face and neck before  go.
Whilst in Paris we also visited the Loreal labs and we learnt how to create our own facial oils. I then had the most incredible facial of my entire life! I’m definitely going to start having facials more often. Hopefully once each month. Since turning thirty last September I have been more conscious of taking care of my skin and I’ve been investing a bit more time and cash into my skincare routine. Plus it just feels super indulgent to have a facial! 🙂
LONDON MARATHON
Kathrine Switzer said ‘If you are losing faith in human nature, go out and watch a marathon’
Well that’s exactly what I did. Last year when  I ran the London Marathon, I felt the support and the energy from the amazing crowds, so this year it was my turn to pay it back. I cheered at mile 12 for an hour before making my way over to mile 21. It’s so amazing to watch the runners, each with their own reason to run. It made me feel both excited and scared to take on the Berlin marathon later this year.
Lastly…
My current obsessions ;
Podcast – Impact Theory, hosted by Tom Bilyeu. I LOVE this podcast. Tom is so passionate and his commitment to learning inspires me.
Food – I’m loving smoothies again at the moment. My fave is always frozen banana, dates, nut butter, avocado and coconut milk. YUM!
Reading – I’ve just finished reading Gary Vee ‘Crushing It’. I love Gary Vee so I definitely recommend you get into his content, books, podcasts etc. Now I’m reading a running book, ’80/20 Running’ by Matt Fitzgerald.
Travel – I’m heading to Italy on Thursday to visit the TechnoGym HQ. We’ve also just booked a holiday for half term to Lake Como in Italy. I can’t wait for some time off with the boys.
Races –Â Next week I’m running the Great Manchester Run with Rob as part of Team Garmin. I’ve never done this race before so I’m looking forward to it.
Guilty Pleasure – Listening to the Greatest Showman Soundtrack and belting out the tunes when I’m out in the car. #sorrynotsorry
