Life List . . .

I’m glad that I’ve finally found a blog post that articulates these thoughts. While I think it’s great for people to have life goals, I also wonder sometimes if we set ourselves too much of an impossible task when writing a long bucket list, because there are so many influencing factors that you can’t control, like your comment about having twins; while I’m sure many people have that on their bucket list, the reality is that it’s down to chance, and it’s unreasonable to set yourself a goal that’s based on luck. I have a bucketlist of my own, but your post made me look at it in a new way, so thank you for that.

You are right, so many things are out of our control. To be honest, I think sometimes I just like to daydream about life, and even if some things never happen, I guess thats okay too.

  2. I love this!!! You’ve inspired me to create my own life list xx

  3. Yes! I am looking forward to this so much xx

  4. I have a huge bucket list actually! It’s on my blog. I have a 101 things to do in 1,001 days (2.5 years)! Crazy right? I am not putting any pressure on myself to get all 101 things crossed off, but it’s a fun way to keep track of all the things I would love to do. If I don’t complete it, I plan to just roll it over to my next list. I understand where you are coming from though with disappointing yourself if you don’t accomplish anything on your list. I guess it depends on the person. I am so jealous of your sister! I wish I was in Australia!
