Are You Obsessed with the Internet ?

  1. I definitely agree with you and I’ve taken several ‘breaks’ from the Internet. I get kind of nauseous after a day of being fixated on my iPhone and reading everything I can lay my eyes on. However, I too doubt that we’ll ever be nostalgic to Facebook. It’s ( social media ) kind of moving towards a more animate images and video direction. Like periscope or meerkat or boomerang ( by Instagram ) or like u mentioned snapchat. I think it comes down to controlling ourselves and balancing things out like u say. Great post ! X

Thank you. I can’t even keep up with all of the new social media! I think like most things in life it’s good in moderation but I’m definitely guilty of spending too much time online sometimes 😕 x

Adrienne, this article really hit close to home! After many months of scrolling, scrolling, SCROLLING through Pinterest, Tumblr, etc at bedtime, I eventually had to set “turn off your laptop!” alarms at 10pm to kick the habit. After all, I was wasting my commute distraction 😉 – S x

It’s so easy to lose an hour (or 2!) Last year we stayed in a holiday cottage in Suffolk with no wifi & rubbish signal, bloggers nightmare! It was actually great to be cut off for a few days.

The ‘switch off’ alarm sounds like a great idea. xx

  3. Adrienne,

This was such a great article and it hit close to home for me. I feel like my phone is crazy glued to my hands! I need to take a break. It’s so hard though lol
